Bodyweight Feat Submission Guidelines

All individual feat submissions can be directed to the Contact Form.

General Rules:

The lifter must lift and lower their bodyweight under control. Using the ground or any other aid to assist the feat is prohibited. Use of any grip aids besides magnesium carbonate chalk is not permitted. Any alteration of the gripping surface of the device is not permitted. Hangs must be held in control for 2-seconds. Pull-ups or chin-ups must be performed from extension until the point where the chin is above the wrist joint.

1-Hand and 2-Hand Flask

For 1-hand lifts, the lifting hand must be centered on the device. If there is any question as to whether the hand is centered, it is recommended that the judge or referee draw a line down the center of the device and the lifter’s hand must cover the point where the line intersects the top of the Flask. Touching the straight edges of the device at any point during the lift will invalidate the attempt. Intentional tilting of the device prior to the weight leaving the ground will also invalidate the attempt.

Stirrup:

The athlete must show the side of the device being lifted upon (1” or 1/2”) and grasp the apparatus using only the fingertips, on the flat surface of that side the stirrup only, with the fingers not passing completely through any part of the device and thumb not in contact with the device

Tips Tester:

The athlete must grasp the apparatus by grasping the round tube, being sure not to wrap the hand(s) around the flange. The hand must be centered, such that the center line of the device is between the outside edges of the index finger and pinky finger. For visual aid, a line can be drawn down the center of the device with a marker if desired.

Trilobite Handle Series

Before the lift, the lifter must show what size roller or block they are using and demonstrate that it can spin freely for at least 2 full seconds. If it does not roll like this, it is recommended that the lifter clean any chalk or dirt off the axle and the hole of the roller and apply a light coat of lubricant. In a competition, promoters are responsible for cleaning and servicing their equipment prior to the event so the lifter is not required to. The promoter should also discourage intentional packing of chalk into the moving parts of the handle.

The device must be roughly centered in the hand. If necessary, a line can be drawn around the center of the roller. The lifter is to ensure that some portion of the middle or ring finger of the hand is touching the line. Intentional or unintentional tilting of the device will invalidate the lift.
